We are VOSA (Vehicle & Operator Services Agency ) authorised MOT testing station.
VOSA is the government agency responsible for supervising the MOT scheme, it does this by:
- Authorising MOT stations & testers
- Setting testing standards
- Training examiners & testers
- Dealing with appeals/complaints from MOT customers.
An MOT has to be carried out every year ,on cars over three years old.
The test has changed dramatically since it was introduced, and now has under gone 21st century changes. The old style written certificate has been replaced by a computer Generated A4 sized certificate. Any vehicle MOT’d after March 31st 2006 must be issued With the new style certificate. Before the test commences the tester will communicate with DVLA & generate a inspection check sheet using the vehicle reg number & chassis number.
